    I'm trying to have a friendly chat with a friend, but the text boxes have gone very narrow and it detracts from the convo.

    It's annoying.

    But is it fixable so it looks neater.

    Especially a nuisance when trying to use mobile. It goes to a single column of one letter at a time, and then there's no point in even bothering anymore.

    This is why we should drop this nested thread paradigm, use something a little more modern and effective, as I've been stating for several years now.

      By my click of "reply" I not only get a narrower box, but you get a note that I answered yours. Pretty handy.

    So any more narrow box is a reply, and it says under your name that it is a reply. Double notification.
