You remind me of an old friend. She absolutely loves the Dolls and got me sort of into them. MCR not so much.
But the best band? Ever? Of all time? The Libertines. I can't even get across in words how amazing they are, and I recommend their entire work to everyone. -

I thought the libertines died. Leaving the evil remains of Babyshambles and Dirty Pretty Things.
To be honest they need to get back together, Doherty has a tendency to make stupid decisions on his own. -

You're sort of right. The Libertines as they were are done. But Pete, Carl and Gary (the drummer) played a reunion gig in England a few months back. And I like both DPT and Babyshambles. They both get a bad rap for being "not as good as the Libertines," which is definitely true, but is also true of most bands. DPT is split up too now, and Carl's working on some solo stuff, whereas Pete is still with Babyshambles and he also released a full-length solo album, and most of the stuff on that album plus Babyshambles' two albums out so far is great, seeing as how the majority of it was written by Pete (with some contributions from Carl) when the Libertines still played and wrote together, and just wasn't commercially released.

new york dolls are pretty cool. ramones, nirvana, pearl jam, faith no more, white snake, queen, led zep, doors, bob dylan, springstein, hendrix experience, i got a massive soft spot for the rolling stones man, and stevie ray vaughn. and....... bob marley, bb king, muddy waters, howlin wolf, early metallica, most metallica actually, janis joplin, pink floyd, i don't mind kings of leon and theres this band theyre a new zealand band i don't know if any has heard of them theyre called luger boa, theyre cool, singer was the singer for the d4. and the checks too. I always like to support any good new NZ bands. but only the good ones
