  • I don't like it when I feel I am being putdown. That gets my Irish up, even though I'm not Irish.
  • Sorry, not murderous, that's something I tend to avoid. Closest I came was when I once scratched an old boyfriend in the face and I had to be drunk to do that.

Interesting topic and I hope my answer doesn't annoy you. One of our fine APers once accused me of being annoying. Now that DID piss me off! And I did get really ANGRY for a short time. Try not to get angry actually. But your topic is interesting.

    Carry on.

  • That reminds me. That war that started in 2003 DID make me angry. I wasn't thinking of political type anger but, yes, there are things that piss me off.
  • lol ok(:
  • What makes me angry is people who enter contests and RUIN them.
    • how is a contest ruined by someone entering, just DQ
      • After DQing ten poems cause no one cares the rules, you get frustrated and hate your contest.
  • Some do that for fun, I think, and some just don't know any better.

Not being able to write poetry. I get very frustrated and punch holes in the wall and pull my hair out by the roots. I am now a bald untalented man with very sore hands...

If this was originally a serious question, get as angry as you can and then get over it. Anger, like poetry and revenge, is probably, in writing, best re-created with wilful intent.

You are Figaro and your mood is "Je m'empresse de rire de tout de peur de n'en avoir a pleurer".
Alternatively, you are Lobby Lud and I claim my fiver, as I brandish my "News Chronicle" in my other hand.

Actually Lobby Ludgate & myself were both thrown out of the Commedia dell'Arte for excessive method acting & smuggling contraband copies of Stanislavski. I'm not sure what happened to Lobby but I believe Stanislavski went on to invent the Eurocopter.

for years, I've said "do you want to phone your dad?" and the answer for years was "yes". Then, he replied "maybe later". Now, my son says "what's the point?"

I had to find out from neighbours that his granny was in hospital, and find out from the hospital when she was moved to a care home (she's dying) - the fucker hasn't even been to see her, either

seriously, he's the weakest person I've had the misfortune to know.

I hate to hear anyone bad mouth someone when they are not around and then say, the person comes back in the room and smile in their face. I always put them on blast, because they should have said what they wanted to say to the person's face.
And I really, really hate when I do put them on blast, but I am the one that is "lying". I always hate when I am telling the truth and others are calling me an liar.

Yeah...Idiot Exploiter 8 is genuine rubbish. I'm only angry at Win 7 because I haven't upgraded yet. In fact I am not going to at all. £70 to spend several hours frying my hard-drive? All for something still in the test-pilot stage.

        I'm sticking with Vista, SeaMonkey & K-Meleon!

To get back to the initial thread, I have realised that in AP I am most infuriated by the ignorant complacency of so many who think they are writing and commenting constructively on what, using the term chosen by one member, is just so much dross.

  • Hopefully, the ones who spread dross on the site

are happy with what they wrote. If they write enough dross, they might come up with something good. The dross can be annoying though.
