Most places I've been to won't let a person under the age of eighteen get his/her stuff published. I have a poetry ready to be published, but I can't find anywhere to get copyright and publishing at. Help?!

Hi. How old do you have to be to get your poems published? And could some of you read my poems and see if any of them are publishing quality because I'm not sure what publishing quality is. Please be truthful. Thanks,
Rosefrn
P.S. I'm 11 -
As I have said in other threads on this same question, my first poem was published when I was fifteen, and I had a large amount of both fiction and poetry published before I turned eighteen. In fact, I don't remember my age EVER being a restriction on submitting work.
Most of the magazines on www.duotrope.com do not have an age restriction, but if they do, it will be clearly noted by the duotrope staff on the bottom of the market info. page. -

Yes, I remember. You told me what I needed to change and I did so. I was going to try The New York Times. I heard, from a friend, that her mother had a book published (it was something) through them when she was sixteen. I was going to try them, but I need to finish some poems before I get that far. I was also going to try the Highlight's magazine, for my...more child-like poems.
Butterflies and Teddy Bear are the two that I'm referring to.
