          That IS NOT true. It doesn't matter if you mean them; they are still endorsing a several thousand year history of prejudice against homosexuals. It's not like there's no such thing as homophobia anymore; they're still discriminated against, still jeered at, still denied their basic rights, still lynched.

      See, there you go again, making statements when you don't know what you're talking about. Ex; "Metal is not as musical as other genres." That DOESN'T MEAN ANYTHING. *phew* I'm glad I got that one of my chest.
      This also doesn't mean anything. If it's not malicious, it's not homophobic, seeing as how "Homophobic" means "hating homosexuals."

                  I'm pretty well known here for being a diehard metalhead. I'm also pretty laid-back about my music here; unlike Archeas, it's not hard for me to grasp that most people here don't care for metal.

        Yes it does mean something. If it's not told with the intent to harm then it's okay. Like when I tell Asian jokes to my Asian friends. I love them so it doesn't matter.
        and homophobic means fear of homosexuals if we're getting picky.

    Homophobic jokes are wrong, malicious and evil. Maybe those three words are a bit strong, but I don't care because I think it's true and people who say those things (though entitled to their opinions) should just go away from me. I don't need that.
