    apperantly i submitted an old poem of my which in my opinion was decent aswell as to alot of other people.

    the weak judging of poetry on poetry.com seemed to make me an editors choice award and i really want to contact them somehow

    confused they sent me mail saying im a winner i could win money but...

    how the hell did i win???
    the poem isnt that great its old and the grammar is completely off.

    you guys here on allpoetry would so win im not even that good an i won.

    Poetry.com is a scam. Everyone wins. People have sent random words to Poetry.com and been notified that there work was brilliant.

    Next, they will want to publish the poem in an anthology. If you were to buy the anthology, you would find your poem prominently placed - but your mother might buy the "same" anthology and not even find your poem in it at all.

    The best thing you can do is ignore anything you receive from them. Eventually, they will go away.

      same thing happened though we're not gonna buy crap from them...

      thanks now i can tell my mom those mail letter's are fake an that im a crappy poet O.o lol
