    i know this is prolly not for this area but i was wondering if people could make more contests for us younger kids whose with me please i just started here and i would love for more contests for us that are under the age of 15 i am 12 and i wish there were more contests that i could enter but most of the ones i like seem to be for the older crowed

    I might run a contest for younger writers once i'm finished with my class on how to host contests.
    good luck, and don't be intimidated from entering contests!
    the more you enter, the better you become at writing, and the better your chances are of winning!

    Why not start your own, meet new people there, then, by a cruel combination of peer pressure and outright bullying, make them return the favour?

    Before you know it you have a nasty teen clique of underage contest holders. Lovely.

        I may have chosen to ignore how backwards your system of representing the date is.

        Prime numbers are a better reason to choose digits.

    A strong reminder to all contributors to this thread...


    We ask that members not hijack legitimate threads posted by young members who want to get some feedback with a question.

    Posting on the teen board about your hangovers is inappropriate to begin with, but to hijack a thread started by a young member asking about contests for kids is a no no for sure.

    If you want to talk about your hangover, go the cafe or if you are old enough, venture into the pub - otherwise, be respectful of the other members here and please keep the discussion on the teen board G to PG.

      Why is there no board for children? I was under the delusion that "teen" was 13-19 inclusive.

      Not too bad rude, but wouldn't it be PG-13?
      Seeing as it is a "teen board" we'd discuss teen things, which would mostly fall under the category of PG-13.
