I'm no longer under 15, so this isn't a problem for me any more, but when I was, I couldn't remove entries from my contest unless I was old enough to view them, which in most cases was my reason for wanting to remove them. Then I couldn't judge the contest until I'd removed them, and it went round and round like that, so I had to keep changing my age in order to delete entries that were unsuitable for my young age!
I don't know if this has changed, but if it hasn't it is pretty important. I got a warning message for "lying" about my age, which I'd done to delete entries from a contest, not to try and read unsuitable poems. -
Anytime that happens, contact a moderator and we can remove them from the contest for you. We do it all the time for the younger poets on the site

Isn't that rather pointless, though? Shouldn't there be some way of allowing younger poets to delete entries from their contests without having to go to the mods?

To remove an entry, you have to view the entry. The remove option should be beside the title, or the entry info part. A box pops up anyway, asking confirmation of the removal(at least it does when the contest is closed), so it wouldn't be clicked in error.
I've been hinting at tchanging it on SW for a while now... hint meaning coming right out and requesting on the policy forum there. The main problem is that some that enter contests are unable to read the rules and comprehend the 'no adult' portion that most hosts include.

One good way is for the contest host to send a contest note to the entrants telling them that "I'd love to judge the contest, but some people have entered adult material. I cannot judge until those are removed. So, if you're one, please remove the entry. Thanks
" Be surprised at how often that works
