When do you write poetry?

    I usually write it when my emotions are on overdrive i can't be calm and write for some odd reason.

    I write usually at school, so between 8:30 and 4:30 everyday. I write when I'm feeling depressed or confused or angry. It's my outlet. I rarely write if I'm happy, because the emotion simply is not intense enough. However, I will take pictures if I'm happy, because photography is my other outlet.

    When I have something to write about and the time to write.

    I also write with a local group, so if I'm at a meeting, chances are I'm drafting or writing.

    i write usually at night, when all my feelings and emotions have time to catch up with me from the days struggles

    I usually start a poem at around 3:30 a.m. after a few drinks and finish it by sun-up, or if not then just later on in the day. I rarely let a poem stay unfinished for more than a day.
