Wouldn't it be good if we could separate poems from graphics in the random picks and return the favor features?

I think it would be good if people stopped posting them as 'poems' in the first place. I have backgrounds, and I post them in a list, with the link leading to the jpeg url (that was not a promotion). If they put 'background' in the category tag, then there should be some way to filter them out when clicking random.

Yeah, I think if I remember correctly this similar topic was mentioned awhile back. I would love it if there was another section for the backgrounds, and if it worked like that it would be awesome.

There should be a new site called Artreply connected to AllPoetry at some point in the future.

I prefer plain backgrounds, with no borders, but how can we get it so they have a wider left hand margin? The fact that the poems are pushed all the way over to the left bothers me.

If you want a margin/border on a plain background, open up Paint, fill the background with the color you want, and upload it as a custom background.

I'll pass on a note to Kevin to add the feature for having a border for plain backgrounds.

You can space bar each line over a certain amount of spaces.... annoying as heck to do, really, but it pulls it away from the left margin.

On storywrite, there's the addition of 'Edge color' in the background process, which places an edge of about... 1 inch (I'm measuring with a ruler from the edge of the screen to the text area on my own screen), which pulls it all from the left side. Just make the background and edge the same colour, and it works seamlessly. Wonder if that could be brought here, since it's all basically the same things used across the sites.

Thank you for the tips. I just logged in to discover that now all poem titles are high-lighted in an ugly grey-blue banner, no matter what background you've chosen, so it must be karma.
