I am aware that if there are less than 5 replies to any topic, the author may delete it...

...but if I make a polite request to the admin team, is it possible that I can get my longer topics (>5 replies) deleted, just because I want to?

I think it is a question of controlling my own materiel, as an active poet in the Pub.

Besides, sometimes it is just polite to tidy up our forum, and delete the dead wood.

I really don't mind if I annoy contributors to my longer (>5 relies) topics...

If me deleting my topics willy-nilly annoys them? I really don't care... if I want, and it is my topic? I should be able to delete it out from under their whiny little arses!

    Hooray!

    Cheers,
    Toby.

    their contributions outweigh your ownership
    • Yeah that's just it isn't it- you are surely correct, Mayy Holck...

But yeah? even if that is true, nonetheless, just because I wanna? why should I not be allowed to delete it out from under their arses, just because I thought of it first?

You know Matt, there is a Just World, and then there is a grumpy curmudgeonly brilliant lazyman, who just wants to delete it because now it is pissing him off, and I started it anyway.

You see? why should your idea be anymore true than mine?
