You don't even have to vote... I just want ot start some interesting conversation and figure out which religon is the one that people write poetry the most.

NO matter how I feel about religion, I would like to learn to get along better with my fellow woman and man
Or my fellow brother man and sister woman. Or say, fellow sentient beings, more like it.
Have been discovering the fullness of felines, the complexity of other living beings.
Sometimes to me, even the very earth, rocks, wind, and sunlight seem alive.

You realize that this is a loaded question outside of the groups, right?
-
Well you left out probably 50 or more religions that are out there.
Here's my stance on religion:
I don't take part in ANY religion that is known in the world, but also I do not disagree with what they say.
Basically, I don't think there is a true religion out there. It's all about faith in yourself, not in some God or Idol that you may worship. To me, if the world can not agree on one basic religion then I don't like any of them.
For me, I believe that there is some other higher power out there, whether it be a God, or our own concious mind, I don't know. -
What religion would you like me to be ?

A few years ago that could be a loaded question where I come from...now things are calmer, but I will still hesitate to state and abstain
-
I am hate religion in the words of Murderface:
"Does anyone know a good bar around here?.....
It's all the same! Religion is just a bunch of boring crap!
Does anyone know a god Bar around here!!!!" -
-
Nature is my god bar, or goddess bar
Crap is good for fertilizer. Just got to process that shit right.
-
-
I don't have a religion I don't think. But, I do respect anyone who has a religion.
-
-
I think you meant to say you 'DO respect anyone who has a religion. '
or am I wrong.
AnnD -
-
Oh. Heh, yeah.
Thanks

She could be implying that she's apathetic towards those that associate themselves with religion. Or, (more likely) she's using a colloquialism common in the midwestern US. The latter would mean you're right.

I live towards the Atlantic, buddy. There is a beach four hours or so away.

-
I don't have a religion as while i'll accept that any god/gods and/or godesses are there i wont follow them as they make you behave in certain ways or styles which stops you from being you.
-
I love Jesus! Always have always will! Not afraid to say it either, as you can see.
-
-
Jesus Rodriquez from Vermont?
-
Ayoris may I love you?
Am not afraid to say that.
Now, q. for the day: "What is love?"
And
"Can love be godly?"
and
"What kinds of love are there?"

You would do your survey well to include atheism.
-
I was raised a Jehovahs Witness. Hated every second of it, now i just hate every person i ever met in the religion, including half of my family, unfortunately
-
Pastafarian.
The Flying Spaghetti Monster loves all. He touches each of us with His Noodly Appendages. -
-
My brother is a Pastafarian, but he also worships the Great Google God, who is the Flying Spaghetti Monster's deity on earth, set there so you don't have to bother Him so much. He claims that this OK, because, since two of the ten condiments were dropped on the way down the mountainside, Pastafarians have always had fragile moral standards. So my question is this: are you a orthodox Pastafarian, or a conservative? Conservative being in acceptance of deities created by the Flying Spaghetti Monster.

I don't beleive in religion. I think its something people need to look forward to and to give them faith. Although religion does interest me. It's facinating to learn what different people beleive in.

Religion sometimes feels like wearing disguises
No matter how nice a disguise you wear, you might always be masquerading as some rotten hypocrite, if you aren't allowed to express your own true self.
Or maybe we are all just sinners wearing masks. Hence why we celebrate festivals like Mardi Gras, Carnaval, & Halloween. They remind us of the selves we can be, could be, would be, and might be. -
Where"s the Wicca one...have you not heard of it????
-
I don't beleive I'm a religious person, I prefer to say I have a relationship with Jesus Christ.
This is a very interesting topic to read! Some of the religions people are talking about I've never even heard of! -
I'm a Religious Holiday Catholic...but sometimes I belong to 'Nunya'.... all depends on whose asking, really.
-
Really?!
The world has turned religion into a strict set of rules and policies. Religion is your own belief in taking God and Jesus Christ as your Lord and Savior. This is why the percent of Christian americans is down to about 4% as well as other religions also. -
4%?! Dude . . .
-
Jesus Christ
Pretty sure my name makes it obvious! : ) -
Saved me a lot of time.
-
atheist
-
though i was baptised and went through holy communion as an Anglican (christian) i dont think thats what i am, because i dont believe in the bible or most of which "god" stands for, i dont really know what i am.
-
-
youre tainted, thats what you are
-
-
well, that explains a lot.
-
-
Then that means you are most likly an atheist
-
-
I'm a pagan...not really wiccan, but involving some aspects of Norse stuff too. That's the great thing about Paganism is that it's not dogmatic...whatever your experience is yours to own. Cool in my opinion.
-
I'm not a religous person i have a relationship with Jesus Christ. And i am truly thankful that he is in my life
-
I'm not religious, I'm a Christian. See, the problem with the word "religion" is that it's usually associated with keeping a bunch of rules and "going through the motions" of whatever doctrine you are being taught. But see, with Christianity, it's not about religion, it's about having a personal relationship with Jesus Christ.
Being a Christian isn't as bad as everyone says it is, mostly because ppls idea of Christianity isn't accurate. They get it from the media or family or friends and they think we are all fundamentalist Bible-thumpers and we're not. I'm not. -
-
If you can actually make people understand that concept you are my hero. I've been trying to explain it for as long as I can remember. I just get told that I am crazy. Apparently it makes you crazy to be a Christian but being Atheist is so "in" it's never questioned. Ack!. But yes... Rant over.

*atheist*

I'm a Jehovah's Witness born and raised. Been baptized as one for 12 years. I love Jesus Christ and his father Jehovah God.
