~Innocence~ ((Favourite Book))
The final girl: I drank my blood and found a voice inside me deeper than the pain. I looked in the mirror and found a face beyond beauty. I walked up on screen into a vision that was terrifying and true. And when i came back i was more innocent than beofre. the world was glimmering and strange.
This is where it al starts to change. this is where the fatal error unfolds and blooms in that deadly, artificial way of a flower in time lapse photography. But flowers are so beautiful you don't realise they're poisonous. you don't realise that if you get too close they will kill you. Anything that cares only for beauty can't handle getting close, because close up, nothing is only beautiful.
How can i get you to believe me? To believe the unbelievable? If i tell you whats happening all around you, will that make a difference?
This is whats happpening: I'm running away, away from these memories, away from myself. But the faster i run, the faster they follow, untill there ahead of me and i'm running into them.
I felt an immeadiate wave of rejection, the longings, and then despair. My first thought was: I want to kill myself. Actually it was a little different. It was the voice in my head and it was saying, you should kill yourself!
We see innocence twisted into the disease of our time, the disease of fantasy, a disease created by a world in which there seems to be nothing real.
