I'm kinda new at this...but I love to write. It's pretty much the only way I am able to express myself (writing). So I thought I'd give poetry a shot...(so please dont bash on me if my poems suck lol)

As I've been starting to write poetry, I'm starting to realize my own writing style. I sometimes like to use rhyme, but not always. I don't like my poems to be too dark or too happy. I like them to be bittersweet...I like for them to be hearwrenching, but at the end the reader coming out of it with hope. I like to think of my poems as a hero rising from the ashes...To acknowelegde the pain that later leads to success and appreciation. That's what you'll get from reading my poems
