I am wiccan. i used to be christian but i went through the faze that i didn't believe in that one god... and so i started looking up and researching religions when i stumbbled across wicca. i went to the library and checked out lots of books before i actually converted. i told my dad about my new religion and he promised not to tell my mom... but he did. and since she was raised by a christian minister she was saying that i was a devil worshiper although i don't believe in the devil. then she said that i wasn't aloud to celebrate halloween or my birthday which, at that point, was like a couple days away. i tried writing up a report on wicca and paganism and gave it to her, needless to say she didn't read it. she shoved it into the couch and left it there till i found it one day and confronted her, she said that if she were to read it that she would end up going to hell, and she said that it was ok if i were to read it because i would end up going to hell already anyway.
i pretty much live with my brother and sister-in-law now-a-days since i graduated. my brother is a really cool guy he is 26, my older sister is 21. my little sister is 18.
favorite bands, *30 SECONDS TO MARS*, *Bobaflex*, Anna Nalick, Pink Floyd, The Get Up Kids, The Dresden Dolls, Panic! at the Disco, The Killers, Metallica, Godsmack, Green Day, NIN, Smashing pumpkins, Velvet Revolver, Blink-182, Incubus, The Cranberries, there are more but i will again tell you the best of the best out of the list i've already made, 30 SECONDS TO MARS, they rock if you have never heard of them, like most of my friends hadn't, then you should check them out sometime. (Jared Leto is so sexy)

At the time, I just wanted to share my viewpoint, as a Christian. I didn't mean to imply that I was judging, as I had stated in that original comment. I wasn't judging you then, and I'm not now. As I came back to find this comment I read your author page again, and I think you sound like a really awesome girl. We have a lot of the same taste, especially in TV shows (and you're right.. My So-Called Life was like the best show ever, but I only got to see it sometimes, and I haven't seen it in years, but I have never forgotten it!) Anyway, I wanted to apologize if I did offend you, I really didn't mean to. You definately have the right to believe whatever you want to. It makes me sad that your mom took the news hard. I have friends that are Wicca and Pagan! for people who are "Christians" seriously need to look in the mirror and stop fucking judging people! As a Christian, you don't tell someone that they are going to hell, because you my young friend, will be there saving a spot for me!
Me personally, I say believe in what's true to yourself and in your heart.
Anyways...Bleesed Be...it sucks that some people are closed minded and just ignorant. Keep doing your thing and fuck all others! -
