Concerning reading, I love Seamus Heaney, John Clare (the 'peasant poet') and Carol Ann Duffy; Welsh literature, particularly the work of Gwerful Mechain, Einir Jones, and R. S. Thomas, is another favourite and I would truly love to do some academic research on the Welsh revival (one day).

Music-wise, I'm a huge fan of John Mayall and the Bluesbreakers, Donovan, Nick Drake and too many others to list here. Does anyone remember the Ozark Mountain Daredevils? And Larry Norman??

Gifted, Adorable, Zestful, Exemplary...
Just a few words that describes a fabulous lady and her screen name.
She glows with affection and spreads her love to those around her.
A caring mother of many who should be commended for her efforts.
An inspiration marvelled by others (even to include modern day heros).
She is known as bethan-gaze on this site, but lives in all of our hearts.
She is deserving of much praise, but that would take a ream of paper.
She is worthy of many accolades and should even be awarded more.
Her talent proceeds her as she is a breath of fresh air;
maybe that's why we do know her as bethan-gaze:
beautiful
eloquent
thoughtful
hospitable
angelic
nurturing

Author notes
This is for the second runner-up of the Goddess of Rain of July 2007 - June 2008. The choice was to co-host a contest, the points for a contest or for me to write a poem (and I thank her for choosing this one giving me a boost of confidence in my writing). I just hope it will not let her down.
As for the poem...I decided to make her screen name acrostic... which is the introduction of the poem. She is such a talented person and so many unique characteristics. If you get a chance, you should drop by her place even if it's to only say "hi."
