Hey everyone! First of all, my username Latin, "bella poena," which means "beautiful pain." I studied Latin for three years and i LOVE the language, it is amazing!
The username hints to a bad habit I picked up over 2 years ago, self injury. Most of the poetry I post are things I've written with a razor during my lowest lows. I haven't let anyone read them before now, but I just want some feedback of any kind, I guess reassurance that I'm not indeed crazy. Cutting is just something that I do to relieve my stress and, its the only pain I can control. Everything else in my life is going up in smoke, it's the only thing that keeps me grounded in reality. Please don't judge. I'll cope my way and you'll cope yours. By the way, I am not "emo". I absolutely cannot stand when people assume that, just because I cut, that means I wear black and too much make up, etc. I'm actually a very outgoing, peppy person. There are just certain times when the pressure becomes too much to handle and I need some relief. I don't want to stop, so please don't tell me to; you will be ignored.
