I live 'down under' in Aotearoa (New Zealand) in the busy city of Auckland. I use writing and poetry as a form of release from the emotions I experience throughout my days as a student struggling with the difficulties of college - friends, hatred, self-image, relationships, family etc. I also post a lot of poems at www.my-poetry.com under the same username. Writing has always been my passion and I hope to pursue it, I like to write poetry in rhyming form but I do experiment with other ways. All of my poems are about me and all of them are true. A large majority of my work is either about love or is sad, it's how I figure out my thoughts. I'm sure alot of people can agree with me when I say being a teenager these days isn't the fun it looks like.
I'm not here for the contests, I haven't entered one in a very long time. I just need a release and love hearing feedback .
