Be a circleShow poetry

"Come back, come back. Be a circle, touching my circle, on this plain of Nature." - Clive Staples Lewis

I am a young woman, but mostly a girl. I enjoy:
ice skating, winter storms, God, friends, french fries, poetry, scary movies, granola with yogurt, muffin tops, long walks in mild weather, rain on metal awnings, trees, the wind outside my window, reading endlessly, lemon-vanilla, the backstreet boys, coolhandluke, shane&shane, milkshakes.

I want to read your poetry and be inspired.

I wrote a piece of fanpoetry once for Final Fantasy VII, but it was terrible and I'm pretty sure I deleted it from here a while ago. Needless to say, I don't plan on putting it up on here anytime soon.

I've written fanfiction before and am working on one at the moment involving Cloud and Zack's escape from Shinra Mansion.

Anyway, thanks for the comment--you should enter the contest as well.

On the matter of circles and C.S. Lewis:

“He was influenced to Christianity by J. R. R. Tolkien [a Roman Catholic] through their discussions and by G.K. Chesterton's book, The Everlasting Man (C.S. Lewis). ‘Dyson and Tolkien were the immediate human causes of my conversion. Is any pleasure on earth as great as a circle of Christian friends by a good fire?’ (Hooper 197). Huge Dyson was one of C.S. Lewis’s close friends who had an influence on him through their conversations on Christianity.”
