I'm a published Poet. I have about 5 of my poems published. All of my work is from experience and it's how i actually feel at the moment i write it. To me poetry is about inspiration and emotions. In my world there is no such thing as a bad poem or a poem that needs work on. There is words expressing the feelings of the writer.
