"Timor mortis conturbat me." (The fear of death confuses me.)-William Dunbar, Lament for the Makers.

I love that quote, I feel like it really reflects how I am and how I view life. Truly, I do not fear death.

I love to write. Hopefully, one day, I'll become a professional writer. I know I still have a ways to go before I reach that point, but compared to how I used to write, I've come quite far. A quick note about my poems, most of them are...depressing. I honestly do not know why I always write such depressing poems. Sometimes, I'll try to write a happier poem, something light and airy, and I'll end up writing something dark and heavy. Perhaps it's because, for me, it's easier to write the depressing stuff. I often can project myself into the mindset of someone who could be going through whatever I'm writing about.

Regardless, I do hope you enjoy my poems. And I do hope you comment on them. Please make hard criticism and be brutally honest; I cannot better myself if every comment I get is full of rainbows, unicorns and happy frilly pink things.

On a final note, I tend to be sarcastic, so just keep on your toes. ^_^
