Georgia (My Friend)

Philosophically, poetic of mind
With a silk and feather heart
The complexity, of your shining soul
Drew me close, from the very start

With a pen, your words are lithe
On paper canvas, brush strokes fly
Painting sun moon and stars
Fluffy clouds and clear blue sky

Floating on sketched images
You enrapture words of bliss
By the end line of your poems
My blushing muse is kissed

Though an ocean may divide us
For we live on distant shores
We were destined, in this life to meet
As we’ve already met before!

In running from heaven one inevitably sprints towards it for there is nowhere to hide and reminders are everywhere.

I am from the UK so any fellow Brits, Irish, Scottish or Welsh poetic dreamers, lunatics or comics (same thing) out there send an im so I know you're there and I will take a look at your ramblings! It's ok I call mine that too. I'm an old fashioned girl, I still write with a pen.
