Hello, my name is Armando but I go by Armandolush. I am 21 years old and I started writing poetry probably at the age of 14. It has been a while since i've written any significant poetry but I do believe I would like to start expressing myself through poetry. It was and still is one of my passions but I seem to have put it aside. I have an old account on all poetry which I will probably be deleting but I am going to restore the old poems I wrote them and re-post them on this account.
I guess to get a little more detail into me so you understand some of the things I write about would be, I am a gay male and I live in california. Life has it's ups and downs and lately it's had more ups than downs. I've had to deal with a lot in life, the depression as a young teenager wanting to come out, finally coming out and being myself, getting arrested, doing drugs and the frustration of getting over drug abuse. I've also had and have a ' partying ' addiction but I've actually controlled that. Other than those depressing details of my life I've had many experiances with love, friendship, loyalty and passion. Growing up being who I am has been difficult but I'm a very optimistic person, hoping for the best. Hopefully with this detail of my life you can understand what I write in my poems and I hope you enjoy them.
