My name is Ryan. I'm not specifically a poet, i write songs for the most part. I pay special attention to my lyrics, as i have confidence issues about the quality of my music. I also have confidence issues about the quality of my lyrics, so i put extra effort into the music too. I'm not sure who specifically influences me, but lyrically i admire Morrisey, Pete Doherty and Joanna Newsom, if that means anything to anyone.
I'm not sure what i want to tell you about myself, i'm afflicted with a certain shyness. When it comes to drawing inspiration, i have a few things to dip into i suppose. I was recently kicked out of my 'family home', and am now lodging with some very fun, interesting people. Obviously, my mother and i don't see eye to eye, or even knee to eye. I consider my friends my family, and i love them very, very much. I'm an ex-heroin addict, i've had a history of mental health issues, i suppose i'm fairly naive and, as i've mentioned, i suffer from social awkwardness to the point of being slightly autistic.
I'm 6ft 2", thin as a rake, and i have stupid big fluffy hair, like a goth cotton bud. I live off of vegetarian food, cigarettes, white wine and, of late, Vimto.
Please be gentle with me, i'm very nervous about people reading my scribblings.
Feel free to talk to me, i'm nice, i promise. But if you're going to be petty about points and stuff, i have no time for you. I'll comment your poem if i think i have something relevant to say, but don't be offended if i don't. It just means i'm not feeling expressive. It's just a website.

He is intelligent, pretty, good natured and has big, lovely, poofly hair. Confusing as he is, he never strays toooo far from reality. He is in touch with all sides of his person, feminine and masculine, and is just a fun person to be around.
