I love poetry! My poems are on varied themes, I have no particular preference. They are not always profound or lyrically beautiful, but for me each piece I write is a reminder of what I was feeling when I wrote it.
I believe in the simple joys of life - walks in the rain, endless hours of gazing at the untiring sea waves and of course, reading good poetry! As I said, I'm a spontaneous writer writing more for the expression than literary beauty. Hence my inspiration is derived from commonplace incidents and life itself. I do love reading prose though!
My poetry is honest - no forced emotions... you can't write it unless you feel it!
My all time favourite writer is Douglas Adams. I also loved books like Catcher in the Rye, Rebecca, Illusions, Jonathan Livingston Seagull. ..the list is endless!

I love sharing my poetry with others and reading theirs. It is wonderful to see different points of view (especially when they're so beautifully expressed! )
