If I were a flower, I would be a violet.  If I were a drink, I'd be milk.  If I were a chemical element, I'd be manganese.  If I were a moment, I would be the time when you were almost asleep.  If I were a photograph, I'd be of a tree with sun hitting it on the left and people sitting beneath it.  If I were a Ninja Turtle, I'd be Donatello.  If I were an article of clothing, I'd be a green jacket.  If I were a body part, I would be the lungs.  If I were a feeling, I would be comfort.  If I were a thought, I would be, "Oh, dear, it's time."  If I were a fabric, I would be cotton.  If I were a song, I'd be "Holy Roman" by the Get Up Kids.  If I were a movie, I'd be "Amelie."  If I were a color, I would be cerulean.  If I were a piece of furniture, I'd be a sofa.  If I were a superhero, I'd have laser vision to give people cancer, plus I'd be able to fly.  If I were you, I would be thinking something new every moment, and hoping for better things to happen.

    contest as an " Invite only ". I have been reading
    your poems for quite awhile and thought this
    would be a good way of getting to know you better
    as a writer. I would very much appreciate an entry.

    the boys are sick but the men do not look at a thing and for this time this is never and only you or nothing

    we are happy maybe for the first time but we do not know it
