Turns out in the end the only one i ever had to prove myself to was Me-William Rose





You can say what you wish of me.
You can make fun of me.
You can tell me your sob stories.
But there will only ever be one thing to me.
One thing that someone has written for me that really Made me cry.

I will take it to the wire now
Until every race is run
I'll go straight into the fire now
Until every day is done
Voices say -- break away
Live each night as if each moment
Was the only one

Through the fire
To the wire
When the night out of control
Is breaking your heart
Through the fire
To the wire
When the flames are burning hot
They take you higher
Through the fire

There's a feeling that I can't ignore
Like a stranger at my door
So revealing that I cannot hide
When you settle up the score
Voices say -- night and day
Live your life as if each second
Was the final one

Through the fire
To the wire
When the night out of control
Is breaking your heart
Through the fire
To the wire
When the flames are burning hot
They take you higher

I look for signs that you are here tonight
When the passion calls the pleasure to the flame
Then I ask you of the meaning when you talk of love
Would you take the leap of faith?
Would you throw it all away?

    I hear you, I hear your voice in the wind it's faint but there, remember me it says from the wind, remember me as i was and as i am now, remember the happiness and not the sorrow, remember the good times and not the bad, look to the future and I will still be there, look to the stars and you will see me, please don't forget about me, I wont I say back as the wind blows around me as if hugging me........ I ponder the possibility of living life like it says but still remembering it.......
