.                     True Grit & Amazing Grace                          .

For many years, I sought to find the perfect line to sum up my philosophy on life. Something that summed up everything I feel & everything that I would aspire to become. Needless to say, it was a lengthy search.

Then, a line from Barbara Kipfer's book "the wish list" caught my eye.

True Grit and Amazing Grace

That summed it all up for me. If, at some time in my life, someone ever says that I lived with true grit and amazing grace, I would consider that to be the greatest compliment that I would ever want to receive.

Hence, the name of my personal writing web page. Browse on through these pages to read some of my poetry. Sign the guest book and tell me if any particular item strikes a chord with you and why.

Write what you feel.

It's all good.

Well, holy leaping catfish, Earl ... the boss man wants to know ifn he can quote me on that computer thang of his ...

I reckon so, so long as it is a downright neighbourly thing to do ... wouldn't want to hear him spouting trailer trash talk now, getting a hoighty toighty and uppity on his self ...

Might even offer him some of them zikkini squashes to brace himself up with ... hear tell that he's got some kinda problem with the loins, if you know whatta I mean ....

Proballly got himself one of the computer bugs or some such thang ... they probally itch and bite worse than a skeeter at dusk ...

I've been called a lot of things, but this may well be my very first "Hoighty Toighty". Can I quote you on my author page? Lol
