A Little About Me:
My name is Amanda Lynn Corkum and I'm currently twenty one years old. I like to consider myself a shape shifter, because I have tried everything from horror, fantasy, romance, chick literature, and non-fiction. The only two genres that suited (or that stuck) with me were fantasy and paranormal romance; which I write the majority of the time. I write the occasional chick literature story when I'm in a certain mood.
I live in Lakeland, Florida and I'm currently enjoying a short break from school. I have also officially graduated from Polk State College with an A.A. degree. I now attend the University of South Florida (go Bulls!) where I am working diligently to achieve my bachelor's degree in biology. I plan to go back to school after I achieve my B.A. in biology and work towards a B.A. in English and Creative Writing.

- ← Awe, I miss you too! lol Sorry for the late comment. I haven't been on here in about a month since I've been busy with school. How have you been?
- ← Good! School has been sucking me dry, too! Have you written anything new? I'm just about stuck in the mud right now! =P
- Also, (I hit the enter key too fast) do you have any story ideas floating around in the mud that you are stuck in or has your writing just been like a blank slate? lol My writing was like a blank slate for over two months; I didn't even get a single story idea...then BAM! it just came to me. lol
- Yay! I've been thinking of writing a story about unicorns, but I really wanna write more to Demoness' Pet, which I have it planned to some extend but beyond that it's just a vast expanse of nothingness! =P
- Hahas, I know the feeling of not knowing where the story is going. Hopefully you will be able to work more on Demoness's Pet. I really like how that story began and the characters you created so I'm looking forward to seeing where you go from there with it.
And a story about unicorns would be interesting since I don't think I've ever read anything where the unicorn was the main subject of the story; sounds like a high fantasy story to me but since it's you, I know you can do it. hehe - Aww! Thank you! ^^ I hope I can read more of your stories soon! I really wanna read more of Heart of Darkness and Pearls of Nagendra sounds so cool! I can't believe I haven't read that yet! Gonna go do that right now! =D
- Lol Thank you for the story comment. I'm glad that you liked Pearls of Nagendra chapter one. I think I'm going to make that chapter become chapter four or five I think. I'm trying to work on a short piece now for a contest entry but I dread submitting it since I haven't wrote anything in quite sometime it's not it's best. lol Oh well, I'm going to do it anyways and work through it. Did you end up getting to visit your horse this weekend? I thought you mentioned something about that in the previous messages. lol
