Art Is
This valley
moulded, rounded, perfection,
a pristine living sculpture,
jewelled by petal’d nature,
where wispy upward strokes obey:
zephyr’d blankets over hard under-clay.
This landscape
brushed colours, peace, serene;
rustling greens, trickling blues,
shaggy browns and ochre hues.
Lay soft and gaze up high,
what majesty meets the eye.
This silence
breathing loud in creation,
casting shapes in timeless sands,
tactile in the nimble hands
of the artist’s fingered moulding,
this love, an inner smouldering.
This breeze
cures the final varnish.
A laquer of love to seal the form,
reflects the glitter in a dew-kissed dawn,
alive with the spirit of Him,
this art composed from within.
This splendour
captured in amorous awe,
A soul-feast banquet, void of hunger,
drink the beauty of this natural wonder,
bathe naked in the river of bliss,
and discover the sense Art is.

Art is nature, made with loving hands.
