Come Walk With Me
It’s here, it’s now, our time to be,
Slow down your pace, come walk with me.
Palm to palm, take my hand in yours,
Let me calm your inner breaking shores.
See me, I am the picture here,
Alive, the coloured painting clear.
Feel me, I am the breath of breeze,
Inhaled, exhaled, with fluid ease.
Taste my scent in the perfumed air,
Between the space our beings share.
Sense my touch when gently falls,
A seasoned leaf from ivy walls.
Behold my heart within your eye,
When you glimpse the novice duckling fly.
Delight with me in sunbeam’s dance;
Pond’s twinkling coat of stars entrance.
Know the humbling of my love’s grace,
Mirrored in the willows downcast face.
Above, the sky, my soul hung bare;
A blanket for us both to share.
Here our blessing’s in every frond,
Watered by the reed’s rippling pond.
Let time’s escape in shadows be,
On this day granted leisurely.
