| I was sitting in my garden And what did I see A beautiful fairy Looking down at me | |
| I was drawn to her sparkling eyes, a kaleidoscope of color. They seemed to tell a story, one that was like no other. | |
| With wings of a butterfly Hair that shimmered and gleamed Mesmerized as I looked at her An enchantment rarely seen | |
| Was this a fantasy shaped from my mind Could this vision truly be real? There in my questioning of self, My hand reached out to feel | |
| As I reached to touch the Dream she suddenly took flight ~ | |
| Up into the spacious azure sky Surrounded by life-giving light I followed the faerie quietly and quick Mesmorized by the beauty before my eyes But the fae gave a knowing smile And to her home, quickly ducked inside | |
| My eyes welled up with tears As my dream hid away inside My heart returned to its darkened fears My soul in longing anguish cried | |
| within moments of wonder I am a child - a fairy with no need to hide | |
| So, she once again came outside, a gentle Unicorn and she: a picture of loving for thee. | |
| She took my hand, I felt so good inside, upon the majestic Unicorn, we shared a magic ride. | |
| We flew through your dreams- it was deepest night above us the stars and the full-moon so bright. | |
| Below the landscape lay bathed in grey where night-time faeries could prance and play, | |
| My wings are such a beautiful hue Exactly like a Monarch Butterfly Here I sit like a queen with fairy subjects With a white horse, rabbit and kitty nearby | |
| We flew through your dreams- it was deepest night above us the stars and the full-moon so bright. | |
| But sadly soon beautiful Tarra will fade away For I’m a man - so she cannot stay This elusive Fairy Goddess of May | |
| Oh what a site this creature of mystery holding onto sly colors like the faintest of clarity what a further light from a fairly decent form a taper of beauty a sight so utterly adorned | |
| And beautiful though she was, there shone in her eyes, the twinkle of playful mischief A delight for fairies the world has known |
