| The Little Fairy in my garden,
plants all sorts of things, just the other day I found, a Bluebell and(I swear it really rings)!
| Garden gnomes once standing still
Are no longer lifeless and dull Flocks of birds gathered together To sing a tune only some can hear
| The Fairies are many and Pixies too,
They dance an enchanted dance each day, In the mushroom rings at morning dew, By noon under a Wysteria's shade they lay, Until dusk when they work their magic, When it's dark upon fireflies they sit
| The fairies came here in the night
Wee folk, adance and singing I think they lingered till the light For surely. 'twas their hurrued flight That woke my hyacinths in fright And set their bells to ringing |
