Hi!
I'm Tikki (don't mock the name! )

At the moment I just have no inspiration to write. My life is pretty boring, and I find that the best poetry comes from your experiences. So until life livens up, I apologise for the less than up-to-scratch poems .

Feel free to critique my work. If you have a poem you think I'd like, let me know! I love reading other peoples' work.

You're just a face in the crowd
A tiny hole in the cloud
You're trying to find your way in
To let your soul shine back out
We're just a twist in a seam
A splash of paint on a screen
We're making all kinds of shapes
Somehow we can straighten out the bends

This is our time, we can't rewind
Our place to shine out, we can live it anyway
This is our time, to feel sublime

( ) Smoked a cigarette
(X) Drank so much you threw up
(X) Had feelings for someone who didn't have them back

( ) Gone on a blind date
(X) Skipped school - the occasional lesson. And most General Studies lectures
(X) Seen someone die - yep. I work in a hospital. Happens all the time.

( ) Been to Mexico
(X) Been on a plane
(X) Been lost
(X) Been on the opposite side of the country
(X) Gone to Washington , DC
(X) Swam in the ocean
( ) Felt like dying

( ) Recently colored with crayons - unfortunately, not too recently
(X) Sang karaoke badly - I have all the singstar games. I'm pretty sure that counts!

(X) Laughed until some kind of beverage came out of your nose
