ZestyDreams• Show poetry

I've been writing poetry since the age of 13. Before then I had to write poetry in school and hated it because of having to have a certain amount of syllables in each line and not being given the freedom of freestyle poetry. When I wrote my first poem (that wasn't for school) it was about my boyfriend at that time. It turned out pretty well, I was encouraged when it was published on poetry.com...I know now that they will publish almost anything to make money. But it kept me writing. Most of my poems are about love. Most of the time they are sad. Ive been trying to break out more with how I write..But I hope you enjoy reading them and please leave comments and critiques. I love to hear your opinions!

    Yeah, I've been writing since 3rd grade and that's when I really started getting interested in become and author and writer and stuff, and how I ever got as far as to where I am now (poetically-wise) i have no idea.
