I enjoy writing as well as art. For anyone who asks, yes-I did draw this "face". Also, my sis is on this site-Jadegreentiger. I enjoy writing poetry-I'll tackle just about anything. I really enjoy trying different forms of poetry; I've learned a lot. Writing is just so much fun, the idea of tackling the seemingly impossible. Some of my poetry could use some work-I know. I'm not that great of a typer, so I make a few typos every once in a while, even when I re read. The one good thing is: I'm slow and bad enough as it is, I can't really do that sticky caps thing-it would take me forever! I enter a lot of contests to try and expand my exposure to all different types of poetry. Some of the things I've tried haven't worked well for me, but others have. I'm more in the experimental stage, so please bear with me! I hope to get published someday...in the future. I still have time.
Why can't you see me for who I am?
Pay no attention to this outer mask
tearing us apart;
you seem to look right through me,
your eyes sweeping past
to settle somewhere else.
Who cares if we are different;
that's what makes us all the same-
If you can't accept me for who I am,
I am not the one to blame.
