Salutations! My name is Andrea, and I'm 16. I've been writing ever since I can remember. I really enjoy it whatever mood I'm in. I love writing because it is very universal in that fact. You can use writing to vent, to let people know how you feel, to express your great happiness, to desribe your life, etc. Writing can convey ANYTHING! I beleive you just need to know how to write and you have a chance to be successful in life.
When I go to college, I want to be an English teacher or a zoologist. But I also want to write on the side and perhaps publish some of my work for a little extra money.
My hopes are to publish a collection of my poetry before I get out of high school to help pay for college. But I know it's really hard, especially for a minor, to get published at all.
I'm already writing a novel entitled "First Full". It's about 70 pages long in Word without any double-spacing or anything. I have a lot more poetry that isn't posted on this site yet, so please feel free to visit again!
I love horses above all creatures and I show them during the summer. I usually ride Morgans in Saddleseat, but I know how to ride Western and Huntseat as well. I enjoy horses just about as much as I do writing.

I like to think I'm just a small-town girl trying to make it in a big, big world. Not only do I want people to connect with the things I write, I want them to truly see me as a person--not just a face on the back page of a book. I want them to feel like they know me and that they are my friend. It seems that's what we need in this day and age. A little bit of love can go a long way.
