I am Alejandro Salinas, (AKA Kayso)14 years old and very into politics. I am Mexican and am proud of it, i support the immigrants, i started writing some time in feburary 2006, thanks to my wonderfull girlfiend XxCheezeGoddessxX,*i love you* , we've been together since 1/4/06 and shes inspired me and got my fire of poetry started. I like to write about current events, societry, personal, and things people should be aware of. mainly i try to raise awareness of Genocides. Armenian, Rwanda, Cambodia, the jews, and right now at this current moment the darfurians

The darfurians need our help! located in Sudan africa, the janjaweed have been killling the darfurians. started in feburary 2003, they have killed more than 300,000 darfurians. tell every one you can, educate yourselfves, and bear witness!

*ELIE WIESEL*: I remember it was when we began, somebody asked me—I should say it in one sentence, “What do we want to do?” and, therefore, I came up with this mantra “for the dead and—and I insisted on the “and the living.” They should not simply devote ourselves to the dead; there is not much we can do for the dead except remember them and the living need us now. The living need our memory, the living need our commitment, the living need our compassion and our guidance. So that was there for the idea that I had in giving these words, and the living; we must remember for the living as well.
