When I write poetry, I express who I am and how I'm feeling. Writing is my escape from the world, a place where everything I say goes, and a place only I know. I know the depths of what I write and I know the stories that influenced me to write such poems. My works are mostly sad, mostly because when I feel as if I can't get away, I turn to my writing. When I'm happy, I'm too busy living in that moment than writing about it. Granted, I may write a few happy poems, I tend to stick to poems when I feel lost or alone so I can express myself in my own way.
