Welcome to my mind.
I write my poetry for me, it is who and what I am at the point of writing. Sometimes I am lucky enough to be able to step back from myself and write about other people's points of view and opinions.
I'm a really bubbly person who just wants to make the most of what I have. I recently got my A-level results which weren't *quite* what I was expecting and so I didn't get into my first choice Uni. But I'm a firm believer in the whole 'everything happens for a reason' stuff!
And how true that turned out to be! I am now at my second choice Uni, down in the south of England, i live in a village with it's own beach, beautiful countryside, and the view outside my window is a field full or horses, it's beautiful. Not to mention of course, my wonderful and fantastic boyfriend who i would never have met, had i not messed up my oral exam in french! Life works in mysterious ways!
Poetry is a release for me, when I'm angry, sad, happy, in love or whatever, it's my release and has been there for me when I needed to vent. It's mostly free-verse but you will find some rhyming and structural experiments in there too.
Enjoy reading and I will return any comments you make.

X- Kitten -X on March 5, 2006Yay! good for you, i'm so glad that things are working out for you, how are the kids? and how is lance? hope things are going well for you and everything is calming down a bit! sorry it's taken so long to reply, but i've started uni and the workload (and of course socialising!) have stopped me getting on here. But things are great here, i've met the most amazing guy ever and we've been together for over 3months now, and we're both totally crazy in love, so it's the best feeling ever
anyway, enough about me, i want to hear about you! the best way to get in contact is to email me though, cos i often forget to check this site *oops* love you millions and billions xxxxxxxxxxxxxx -
X- Kitten -X on March 5, 2006woo woo woo... yeah poems... it's so frustrating, i'm having the time of my life at uni,i have the most amazing housemates and friends and the most beautiful landscape... yet somehow the words seem stuck, they don't want to come out, the selfish little sods!! Uni is great, much tougher than college, as i write this i'm supposed to be doing a 2000 word essay on ideological analyses of women's magazines... hmm... how about you? where did you end up? hope you are having a fantasmic time!! xxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxx

DragonessTawnya on January 24, 2006Hi there, Sweetie. I just wanted to let you know that I am in Montana. I have two jobs now, and my own apartment, and I will be getting internet access at home soon. For now, I log on at the library, so I still won't be on much, but more than when I didn't know there was a library here. (HUGS) and lots of love. I will be on when I can. Love you.
~Tawnya~
