These are the stories God has entrusted me with. Most of them true, some of them funny, some of them convicting. The messages they contain are mostly directed at myself, but if they help you gain perspective as well, then God is glorified. I am probably the most unlikely person to become a writer, yet somehow I think that is why I am. To God's glory.

Let's just say it is God's sense of humor turning a 23 year corporate accountant who had never written anything into a poet. I still have a hard time telling people that's what I do. But, that's now what I do. A numbers-geek turned writing-freak... go figure. I used to make extremely creative spreadsheets (doing things people could barely imagine), no one appreciated them. Now, I can pen some words and actually inspire people, make them laugh, cry, feel emotions. How powerful is that? How amazing is it to write words on paper and impact people's lives. The bulk of my work is spiritual in nature, they almost always have an underlying message. I write in rhyming style (I've tried other ways they just don't work for me... I know my limitations). Someone told me once I was too Dr Suessy... I told them I considered that a compliment, after all Dr Seuss has sold, what, ... billions of dollars worth of poetry? Speaking of which, if anyone tells you poetry doesn't sell... hahaha... they are only right in that "they" likely can't sell their poetry. It does sell, trust me.

I've learned to live life at a much different pace. A parkinson's diagnosis (I won't claim the disease) at age 33 (now 48) changed my focus forever. It took a while, but now I consider my greatest burden to be my greatest blessing. Without it, I would be stuck in an office, who knows how many hours, hiding from the world. Now, I have the freedom, the time, the inspiration, and the passion for writing. If you want more on my story (along with my wife's, who's is even better), check out our website... at wordsdomatter.com

I am here to get feedback, reviews, and challenges to my writing. I am on a mission to make it better. I will have a publishing contract soon (speaking it), and I want to be ready. So, anything, good or bad, you have to say, I will take in the heart of trying to improve.

I wish you all the best.
