WitchGirlShow poetry

My highschool girls and I are planning a trip to Silver Dollar City for next summer. Gotta raise a lot of money for that trip! I just bridged my younger troop from Junior Girl Scouts to Cadette Girl Scouts. If I didn't have my Girl Scout troops I'd probably have more time to be bored!

I have two cats and a dog, as well as a husband. I hike, swim, read, write and garden! Gardening is dangerous for me....dangerous in the fact that I could easily spend way to much money! I have some indoor plants, but I want more! and I love garden statues...garden centers are not a good place for my checkbook.

I also love music: Celtic, hard rock, clssic rock, native american and others. Some of my favorite musicians are: The Beatles, Rob Zombie, Nine Inch Nails, The Monkees, Jewel and Evanescence.

I am wiccan, my favorite holiday being Samhain (Halloween to you non wiccan folk). I love faeries, and yes, I believe in them. I've never seen one, but I still leave them offerings from time to time. When you believe in faeries, you do such things so the faery folk won't wreak havoc on your house!

My husband is NOT wiccan, he is Christain...we're still working on how to combine the two things. Luckily for us, we don't have any kids yet.

This was my fifth year participating in National November Writing Month, www.nanowrimo.org, a website that encourages aspiring authors to write 50,000 words in one month, November (hence the name). All five years I have met the challenge! For those of you who write novels as well as poems, you outta check it out for next year!

Thanks for stopping by and feel free to visit my website. Merry Meet and Merry Part!
