I am an ole country gal.I have written rhyming poetry for as long as I can remember.It was not until about 20 years ago That I realized everyone could not do this.
I guess you could say my style is from the heart more than the mind. Until I can feel the words I don't write them down.Sometime the feeling is so strong I have written the words and have to read them to know what I have written.I do not contribute my writting to talent but see it as a gift . Looking forward to reading some of the work here.

I'll write you again after i read some more of your work. I really like what you said to me about seeing some qualities you respect in a young person. I would really like for you to see my latest poem, the youth and i, its funny that i think that ties into your comment and i wrote it directly before i read what you wrote. life is funnny like that. When i first started writing, i used to rhyme all the time, but i felt it gave my poems a really cheesy quality so i agree that not everyone can do it and pull it off, it must be a gift. i wouldn't mind showing you some of my rhyming poetry after i get this whole mess fixed and i can post on here.
