Of course you can enter the other contests as well. We set up and run the contest for the young poets so they have a better as they compete against other poets in their own age group. It can be much more difficult to enter contest in which majority of your competition is much older and even more experienced in writing. But you are free to join other contests as well not just those hell by us

I'd like to take this time to welcome you here to AllPoetry. I hope you enjoy this site as much as I do and many others here.
If you have any questions you can feel free to ask anyone that is listed under Moderators and or Greeters. All are very wonderfully helpful people.

I would also like to take this time to make you aware of a group that I am part of called the Young Poet Contests. It is a group that the members hold contests for the young poets under the age of 12 on this site. They compete against one another for trophies and point prizes.
