The past is the past
We've been through quite a bit
Now I don't know about you
But I'm not ready to quit
You mean a lot Jeff
To a lot of people including me
And I care about you
So much more than you'll ever see
I forgive you for the hurt
I don't blame you at all
And I still promise to be there for you
To pick you up when you fall....
We were meant to be friends
Someone brought us together
And no one will tear us apart
Because you my dear friend
Occupy a special place in my heart
We wont let others deny our friendship
Or make it into something wrong
Because while I write you poems
And you sing me songs....
It makes us both happy
And how cant that be right?
We get along so very well....
And we never really fight
Friendship is a great thing
When its one like ours
And it shines so beautifully bright
Like a million glistening stars
We were meant to be this way Jeff
Just you and me
Friends is what we were always
Always and forever meant to be.
And we'll keep it strong
And if we have to we'll fight
Because this is the only thing
That brings a light in the darkest of night.
Your a beacon in the darkness
A reason for me to smile
Your a beautiful friend
Whom I'll cherish through life's every trial
You're a beautiful person
And don't let anyone tell you different
And our friendship, Jeff
