My name is Aleya, I'm 18, Jamaican and want to become a writer. I have already written 2 novels and also dabble in poetry (I began in those years of 15 and 16 where teenage angst reigns)and found out that I might not be that bad at it... I've got a bit of block right now though and I'm trying to get back on the writing horse but... it doesn't feel the same. I can't find any ideas that I want to grab onto and see through to the end. Perhaps because I've been reading Ayn Rand and William Golding and find myself in no way, shape or form able to compete.
