Due to some personal issues my presence will be a lot more scarce on here than it already is. It's really quite upsetting as I already miss a lot of you like mad but unfortunately this is the way it has to be for now. Maybe even for good but I really hope not. Thank you for stopping by my little piece of sanity. I've been pretty lazy with my page and am now beginning the process of changing all that. Bare with me if it's silly or doesn't make a lot of sense. First time really messing with it.

I joined this wonderful community some 3 years back. At that time I just wanted a place to go to get away from the hassles of everyday life. I probably wrote a couple dozen poems before quiting writing alltogether for no real reason. Just kind of stopped.

I started writing again earlier this year when I stumbled upon another poetry site. My writing adventures kicked off again mainly in the form of a few Haikus here and there. With the encouragement of a few friends on that site I fell in love with the form and started honing my poetic style. After building up a great deal of confidence I returned to Allpoetry in April of this year and after some brief spats of awkward writing I was met with open arms of a few forged friendships.

I really must give thanks to Bella-Babie and Kiwigirljacks. Without them I probably would have stopped writing again after another dozen writes. I feed off of the advice and encouragement of others and they were my very first friends on here. Thanks to the support of all my friends I have grown a lot in my writing and have found my way in the poetry world and etched out my own sense of style.

Now that you know my AP history I'll leave you with a few other tidbits about me

I love anything to do with the outdoors. Camping, hiking, fishing, biking, taking my dog for walks etc. I like to draw and think that I'm somewhat decent. I have a thing for pottery and ceramics and have made probably 50% of the pieces in my collection. I work at a company that manufactures windmill blades which I love being a part of. Hooray for clean energy!!  I wouldn't classify myself as an environmentalist but I but I do find inspiration in nature and am in awe of it. I'm a movie junkie....It's kind of a problem. DVDs are taking over my living room. I may just switch the walls out for fully functioning DVD case. One last thing on me. My favorite poem of all time can be found here:
