Aspiring goddess of the hearth and healing.
I love to cook, garden and play mommy to the two-year old child that four doctors said I would never conceive. ![]()
I ascribe to alternative forms of healing such as hypnotherapy and meditation, homeopathy, aromatherapy, accupuncture, and reiki.
I am a reiki practitioner and have some formal training in hypnotherapy as well, though I am not certified in the latter.
I follow a nature-based spiritual path.
I believe in laws of karma and threefold return.
I am a Pisces with Sagittarius rising: deep water with fiery surface.
I identify with the gemstone amethyst and the willow tree.
I consider my animal totem to be the white-tailed doe.
I love live theatre and have both acted and directed in community and semi-pro venues. My specialty is sound and lighting. You can change the whole feel of the play from the tech booth and no one ever sees you.
My husband is a total geek, which I love. He has a wicked sense of humor and a talent for voice acting that almost caused a heart attack at a Doctor Who convention when he pulled William Hartnell's voice out of his arsenal(Hartnell died in '75). Eric and I met on the job five years ago, found out we were both involved in theatre and promptly violated our employer's policy on workplace romances. ![]()
If you are a fellow Who-vian, you should see the wardrobe we painted to look like the TARDIS. If you have no clue what I am talking about, just keep smiling and nodding like you do.
