Refuse to produce the result that is wished;
A time when travesty and majesty
do show their differences similarly;
When the diamond-like twinkle
in the eye of a lover is a plentiful bounty;
A time when sacred accord
meets secular objection;
This is the time when the world makes perfect sense.

Welcome to my page and my poetry. My name is Tim, and I will be your server this evening. I have a distinct love for trees, and I have only recently realized that it is because they carry a deep symbolism of life for me. I have been writing poetry for little more than a year, and strive to continue growing and learning about myself and others through it.
" All Chess players should have a hobby. "
- - Savielly Tartakower
I have a strong, and often difficult to understand passion for Chess. It has guided me through the years like a favored mentor, leading me around the country and teaching me many of life's lessons. It is fascinating to me how extensively life's strategies and insights can be applied to Chess, and vice versa. I have earned a number of State and National Championship titles, and along the way Chess has taught me how to more effectively be a leader, and how I can be an inspiration to others through my own acts of character.
"The c hess board is the world,
the pieces are the phenomena of the Universe,
the rules of the game are what we call The Laws of Nature,
and the player on the other side is hidden from us."
-- Thomas Huxley
" Chess, like love, like music, has the power to make people happy ."
-- Siegbert Tarrasch
I have a number of other interests and hobbies aside from Chess. And also enjoy philosophical and religious discussions. If you are ever interested in talking, feel free to contact me. My door is always open.
Until we meet again, enjoy the poetry.

Why can't the captain wake up?
Why can't memories exist without recalling? -
Fear has been risen to power,
and her people are crying out. -
serrated patterns imbued / in a brazenly colored hue / which, faded and dulled, / blurred its luminescence through. / The image is unfurled
