I am a 30 yr old male from TN. Unfortunately I live on the boring corner of the state. I was born with hearing impairment, but it took years to be noticeable and nothing was done about it until I was 13. I hate it, but I have learned to deal with it. I grew up on video games, comic books, horror, and music. I went to a Methodist Church most of my young life, but I stopped after high-school. Fiction is great and all, but I will not waste my life trying to prove a work of fiction ,whether it's based on true events or not, is real. Literature is entertainment, but don't get me wrong, they do contain knowledge in some way.

My parents divorced when I was 5 or 6, which my dad ended up raising me on his own for 6 or 7 years. Rough times indeed. With my weekly dose of comic books I wanted to be an artist for Marvel Comics. My mom bought me an art table when I was 13. She actually supported my dreams, but I dropped out of art 10 years later and never picked up an art pencil since. During those artistic days I tried developing story ideas for a comic book. So 13 is the age when I started playing with the idea of being a writer.

During my last 2 years of High-school we had a new English teacher. She might of been a stereo-typical dumb-blond, but she did encourage creative writing and therefore I discovered poetry. Ever since then, in the back of my mind anyways, I wanted to be a writer. 5 years ago I met a dear friend on-line who pushed me to keep writing no matter how messed up my marriage and life turned out. So everything you read that I have or will post is the culmination of all that I have written ever since I was 17. Some good, some bad, and some I might regret sharing. I also play lead guitar, which helped with my writer's block a few years ago, and so I write lyrics as well. I can write about almost anything I put my mind to, but I also enjoy writing from different perspectives other than my own.
