this is a letter written by PassionsPromise that i honestly believe that every man, woman or child who has ever been in/or is currently in an abusive situation should read.

This page is dedicated to all survivors of child abuse, domestic violence and rape. Every 15 seconds there is an abuse where someone is struck. My writes about this are very graphic. Some filled with anger and hatred. If your stomach turns easily, I suggest that you not read my abuse writes. I know that it offends some but many need to see that seeking help and talking about it is ok. Consider yourself forwarned and please do not proceed to tell me that I should be quiet about it or change the way I approach it. I am also working through my issues and this helps me.

Thru your words I saw your Heart
And all the scars you bear

Each on told a tale of pain
So clearly written there

Love and pain they sometimes walk
Hand in hand as lovers do

But love and pain just leave scars
Your soul it said its true

They say that time will heal the pain
And then love can grow again

But first alas the Ice must melt
Then may the healing then begin

Words written upon the internet
Like dust blowing in the wind

Promises made but never kept
Still yet love in time will win

So to you dear lady hear
The prayers spoken in your name

The hopes that time will heal your heart
And that no ice remain

For even in the pain you felt
You touched some others heart

And passed some goodness on along
And helped some others start

So remember in your darkest days
Others will offer you the light

And so with my rambling words
I bid you a sweet good night

Wipe away your new found tears
Put a smile upon your face

May sweet lady fair you well
for in your heart find grace

To my daughter:
*Larea,

A mother's heart was broke today,
When with pain, my child did pay.
I can not begin to successfully express
How, your hurting, I do detest.
I am at a loss for words, so I began a contest.
Poems for you and those you know.
Poems from around the world, love will show.
I sit here with tears in my eyes,
As I pray, your classmate does not die.
It may sound selfish of me,
But, on the news, I am glad, your face I didn't see.
I hurt for all the parents involved.
I wish, before today, the issue had been resolved.
Never have I been there for you.
Today, this made me even more blue.
Of this world and all its pain,
I pray God will send a cleansing rain.
You are my baby girl, my precious Princess.
I wish I could cause all this to make sense.
You daddy is there for you.
This has always been true.
I thank God for that fact,
Even though he didn't take me back,
He has done wonderfully well with you, our love.
I am so thankful God gave you to us from up above.
No other words can now express what I feel
As, a horror, part of your childhood did steal.
Thank you for having life, today, your fate.
I am grateful you were a few steps behind, too late.
We may never understand why.
I only hope, on your family, you can rely.
Take these hearts and ribbons that I now send.
Let the healing begin so the hurt can end.

    It's been too long since we've seen you here at AP. I know you left Rehab and (graduated). I also know that we can never really graduate from our addiction. It is always there, sitting, waiting to use its cunning on us when we are at the highest and lowest places in our lives.

    My prayer is that you are so busy being a success at life, and living free of substances (Life on Life's Terms) that you don't have time for this place. Even in that, I MISS YOU!

    I want to, I need to hear from you, simply to know that you are healthy and well.
